Passengers have shared feedback on over 9,000 flights with the consumer site Which? and the results are in for the best and worst airlines of 2025.
Airlines differ widely in factors like price, legroom, onboard services, and route networks, and customer experiences vary just as much. That’s why Which?‘s latest survey, based on passenger ratings of aspects like cabin cleanliness, customer service, and booking ease, is so helpful.
Jet2 earned the top spot for short-haul flights, boasting a 92% approval rating for its booking process, with just 0.2% of flights cancelled within 24 hours of departure. It’s also praised for including cabin bags in the ticket price.
For long-haul flights, Singapore Airlines was named the best, offering standout service, sleek cabins, and quality food and drink. Etihad and Emirates rounded out the top three with similar praise for their exceptional service and modern amenities.
On the flip side, Ryanair was ranked the worst short-haul airline, receiving poor scores for value and known for its abundance of hidden fees. British Airways also fared badly, ranking as the worst long-haul airline and landing in the bottom five for short-haul services.
